Case Study

Continental Corp

Continental Corp operates between China, Hong Kong and Brazil. Their data was split across Excel, WeChat, WhatsApp and email. We consolidated it into one platform every office can see.

The company

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Hangzhou, Continental Corporation is a business group spanning international trade, consultancy, innovation and technology, with additional branches in Brazil and Hong Kong. It acts as a strategic platform connecting China, Brazil and global markets — handling import and export management, foreign investment attraction, digital marketing, training and trade show representation.

The challenge

  • Four channels, no single source of truth. Data was scattered across Excel spreadsheets, WeChat groups, WhatsApp groups and email. Each held part of the picture and none held all of it.
  • Three countries, three time zones, more than one language. Coordinating work across China, Hong Kong and Brazil meant handovers that depended on someone being awake to answer.
  • Task management did not scale with growth. As the company grew there was no central place to assign work, track it, or see whether it had moved.

Siloed information is survivable in one office. Across three, with the working day handing off around the clock, it becomes the main constraint on how fast the business can move.

What we built

  • One integrated platform. All business data and operations centralised into Odoo, eliminating the silos and giving every department real-time visibility.
  • Unified cross-border workflows. Shared communication and process tools that teams in China, Hong Kong and Brazil all work inside, rather than each region keeping its own version.
  • Structured task management. Clear assignment, tracking and reporting, so work has an owner and a visible state.

The result

Handover between time zones no longer depends on catching someone in a chat. The state of the work sits in the system, so the next office to come online can pick it up from where it actually is.

Accountability scales with the company: as headcount grows, work still has an owner, a status and a record — rather than living in whichever group chat it started in.
